Holistic and Collaborative Approach
The coming years, we will take a holistic, collaborative approach to community transportation in Georgina/Northern York Region. We will focus our lens on the overall needs and interests of residents to ensure isolated residents have connections in their communities by
  • Increasing the opportunities to empower residents to be more self-sufficient and engaged in their communities by removing some of the barriers they face due to lack of transportation options.
  • Enhancing our integrated service delivery by capitalizing on community resources to better support residents and service providers alike.
  • Improving mobility options for individuals who are isolated – no access to their own transportation, due to social-economic challenges, geographical location, seniors, people with disabilities.
Growing Our Networks
Our growth will come through collaboration with  community stakeholders with underutilized vehicles, volunteers, staff, relevant services and expertise to support our project. The outcome will be a greater network of opportunities to connect residents to the appropriate travel option for their needs. We will grow our networks by leveraging existing services and pooling resources to provide more riders, to more people, and more destinations.
